0:00 — The premise. On a red card, the words “two eggs. half a lemon. leftover rice.” appear beside the actual ingredients: two eggs, a bowl of rice and half a lemon on a cut.

0:05 — Ask the chef. “Ask the chef.” The homepage shows the promise — good food starts with what you have — with the chat composer and two “Tonight” recipe pins.

0:09 — Recipes, filtered. In the chat, “rice” and “lemon” are typed as filters and recipe cards come back, ranked, with on-device answers marked at zero tokens.

0:13 — Out of butter?. “Out of butter?” The substitution pages show swaps for butter, olive oil, mango and banana with the ratio, flavour, texture, moisture adjustment and what each one suits.

0:18 — Cooking for six?. “Cooking for six?” A Caprese salad recipe scales from four to six servings, and every ingredient quantity follows.

0:21 — Cook the method. The recipe page numbers the method, shows the nutrition split and keeps the ingredient list on screen while you cook.

0:24 — A real 3D kitchen. “A real 3D kitchen.” Pasta Perfetta: a real-time pot, eight guided steps and a clock that runs 24× faster.

0:30 — From pot to plate. The film ends on the My Royal Chef mark and a finished plate. The whole loop — ask, cook, swap, scale, plate — takes 36 seconds.

Who writes the chef’s answers?
Royal Chef, a small AI model that runs on your device. Nothing you type is sent to an AI service. For a conversion, a serving change, a swap or a timer, the chef can use the site’s tools to get the exact answer. AI can make mistakes: check allergies, ingredient labels and safe cooking temperatures.
Does it have Turkish recipes like döner, kebab, yogurt and ayran?
Yes. Turkish is the largest cuisine in the library, with kebabs and döner, İskender, homemade Turkish yogurt and ayran, mantı, pide and lahmacun, soups, meze, breakfast dishes, Turkish coffee and tea, and syrup desserts such as baklava. Each recipe has exact quantities, scalable servings and swaps for hard-to-find ingredients like pul biber, sumac or white cheese.
Do I need an account or an app?
Neither is required to try the website. An account lets you save recipes and history. The native Android app also opens as a guest, with optional sign-in using the same account.
What works without a connection?
Once the chef has downloaded to your browser, it answers without a connection, and the Android app has it built in. Account syncing and the first chef download need a connection. The website is not guaranteed to reopen offline, so keep the page open if you lose signal.
