Delete your account

In the Android app

Open Settings → Account → Delete account. You must be signed in. A confirmation dialog explains that deletion is permanent; confirm to finish. Your session is cleared immediately and the app returns to guest mode.

On the website

If you are signed in below, use the Delete my account button. Otherwise, contact us through the contact form with the email address linked to your account and we will process the deletion, normally within 30 days (usually much sooner).

• Your account (username, email, password hash, Google identity link, premium status).
• Saved recipes and chat conversations stored on our server.
• Daily usage counters and reward records tied to your account.
• Any pending premium grant linked to your account's email address.

• Payment audit records — purchase receipts are anonymized (personal identifiers removed) and kept for tax and accounting compliance.
• Abuse-prevention records (rate-limit counters, security logs) that do not contain personal content.

Anything retained is no longer attributed to you and is never used for marketing.

Deletion initiated from the app or this page completes immediately: your session is destroyed and your data is removed in a single database transaction. If you request deletion by email, we confirm receipt and process it within 30 days of the request. There is no way to undo deletion, and we cannot restore an account afterwards.
