Recipe Scaler

Scale any recipe to any number of servings. Spices scale gently, pan sizes convert, oven temps adjust.

Multiplier 1.5×
Format: "2 cups flour" or "1 tsp salt". Lines without amounts are kept as-is.
Spices, salt, and extracts scale at 75% of the multiplier to avoid over-seasoning.
Quantities are scaled automatically. Instructions and notes are preserved.
Multiply ingredients by the ratio to substitute one pan for another. Based on volume.

Round pans: use the area ratio. A 9-inch round has 25% more area than an 8-inch round (not 12.5% — area grows by radius squared).
